Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in America for the past 40 years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). She began acting in stage shows during the 1950s, beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions, before becoming huge in the national theater area with Li'l abner's in 1957. The album was released by her Too Late for Tina the following year. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden in God's Big Acre a 1957 drama film. The film was hugely popular and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. During this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. Her most memorable performance came through in 1964 when she was signed by CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood and Broadway in roles that were more serious that reflected her reputation as a the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's also become a popular director for well-known TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28 on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family then moved to Toronto for her childhood. When she was selected in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there ever since.
