Ariel Winter, born Ariel Winter Workman (Janurary 28th, 1998) in Los Angeles California is an American actress, singer, and voice-actor. Ariel's acting career began at the age of six when she was featured in an advertisement in the commercial for Cool Whip. The actress landed her first TV role at age 7 appearing on an episode of CBS sitcom Listen Up!. In the following years she appeared on such shows as Monk Bones or ER. Gretchen appeared in Disney Original Channel's animated series Phineas and Ferb as of 2007. She had her breakthrough live-action performance as Alex Dunphy in the hit TV series Modern Family two years later. Along with her fellow cast members, she won four Screen Actors Guild Awards for Most Outstanding Ensemble Performance of the category of Comedy Series.
