Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, is a singer-songwriter and Canadian American. More than 20 albums were released by her. Her music is classified as folk and alternative rock although it also has influence from hip music and jazz. Ani Difranco has been widely recognized as an icon of music that is feminist. In 1990, she was among the first artists to create her own record label. DiFranco has two daughters: Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco.
