Lis Wiehl works as an American writer and legal analyst who was formerly the Fox News analyst.
She is currently an adjunct professor of law in New York Law School. Prior to that she served as an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentaries on National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File alongside Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs Tonight The Imus morning show and is the host of the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, Washington, and was a graduate of West Valley High School in Yakima. She earned her bachelor's from Barnard College, followed by an MA in literature from University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was a US Attorney. She worked as a legal reporter on NPR's All Things Considered. She was the "deputy chief of the investigative team for Democrats on House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's re-election. From 1995 to 2001, she was an adjunct professor of law at the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle and was in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. The analyst was with Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
