Ellie Goulding is a British singer and songwriter. The singer was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986 in Hereford. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 due to the catchy electro-pop tracks "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop.
